Multiplication Bug is a children's educational app that helps kids learn multiplication facts. The developer does not collect, transmit, or share your child's personal information or learning data. Learning profiles stay in app storage on your device. Parent-only review and store actions may communicate with Apple, Google, or the selected browser as described below.
The app stores the following information locally on your device only:
Learning information is used solely to power the app's spaced-repetition algorithm and display progress. Review policy state is stored separately, contains no child or profile identifier, keeps no activity log, and records no claim that a review prompt appeared or a rating was submitted.
We do not collect, transmit, or have access to:
There are no analytics tools, advertising networks, crash reporters, or third-party tracking SDKs in this app. The app itself works fully offline. After a parent directly passes the parental gate and the on-device eligibility rules are met, the app may open Apple or Google's native in-app review flow. A parent may also choose to open this privacy policy or the official App Store or Google Play listing in a browser. The app sends no child names, profile identifiers, learning progress, response history, review-policy aggregates, or custom rating payload through those actions.
Learning/profile data and bounded anonymous review-policy state are stored in separate local files using standard app storage on your device. App-owned data is not encrypted beyond what the device operating system provides and is not uploaded by Multiplication Bug. Standard operating-system backup behavior is controlled by Apple or Google. Only parent-initiated browser/store handoffs and the platform-controlled native review invocation may communicate with a platform service.
You have two options:
There is no server-side data to delete because we never collect it.
Access to sensitive features is protected by a parental verification gate:
This gate does not collect or store any additional information.
Multiplication Bug is designed for children ages 6–9. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA):
For users in the European Union and European Economic Area:
Multiplication Bug does not integrate analytics, advertising, tracking, social, or cloud-learning services. It uses Apple StoreKit or Google Play In-App Review only after direct parental verification and sufficient on-device engagement. The first request can become eligible after five naturally completed Daily Missions on five local dates spanning at least seven days. A second and final request requires at least 30 days plus later qualifying engagement. Apple or Google decides whether to display anything, and the app cannot observe whether a rating was submitted.
The parent-only Rate the app action opens the verified platform listing and permanently disables future automatic review requests before the handoff. Parent-only links may also open this policy in a browser. Apple, Google, or the selected browser may process standard platform interaction data under their own terms. Multiplication Bug supplies no child/profile, learning, or review-policy payload.
If we update this privacy policy, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top. Significant changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
